How does the bot know my kingdom's times?
The GetSwBot team reads the Ancient Ruins and Altar of Darkness countdowns and their cycle for your KvK map directly in the game, and sets them for your server. From then on every opening is calculated automatically. Your admins can also correct a time themselves with /kvk cycle.
Which events are covered?
Ancient Ruins and Altar of Darkness, every time they open, on the exact cycle of your KvK map.
Will members in other countries see the right time?
Yes. Every alert shows the opening in each reader's own time zone, set by their device, and also in UTC game time.
How do I activate it?
Buy a code, add the bot to your kingdom's Discord server (you need the Manage Server permission) and type /kvk redeem with the code. The bot creates a read-only #kvk-alerts channel.
How do I renew?
Buy a new code and redeem it in the same server: the new 30 days are added to the days you have left. We e-mail you 3 days before it ends. There is no automatic renewal.
Does it need special Discord permissions?
It asks only for View Channels, Send Messages, Embed Links, Mention Everyone and Manage Channels (to create its own alerts channel). It does not read your members' messages.
